We believe seeing and hearing people talk about their life, their memories, and their experiences is powerful. Imagine being able to watch your great-grandmother talk about how she grew up. Or your dad talk about his military career. Or finally get on record all those great family stories that you'll want to share with your kids one day.
Memory Vault works with you to set up a recorded interview on the subject of your choosing, edits it, and gives you the media to save and share.
Founder Jen Garrott
Jen is an Emmy® award-winning producer with over a decade of media expertise and a background in history. She has conducted countless interviews around the country for documentaries on C-SPAN's American History TV. Having worked with institutions ranging from the Smithsonian and Library of Congress to local history associations and nonprofits, she is capable of showcasing your individual story. Her low profile filming set up is adaptable to most spaces and her interview style is conversational.
She has a Masters degree in American History from the College of William & Mary and made her first distributed historical documentary as a senior in college. A member of the Oral History Association and well versed in all the technical aspects of filming, she loves using her unique skill set to help people tell and document their legacy.
